ART IN CENTRAL SHIBUYA
Shibuya is not just all about shopping and nightlife. The neighborhood also has a fair amount to offer art lovers.
Bunkamura, which translates to “Culture Village,” is a large complex which contains a concert hall, theatre, cinema, museum and art gallery, run by the same firm that operates 109 and Tokyu Hands. You can see concerts or opera at Orchard Hall or see exhibitions by artists as such as Picasso at the gallery. It’s best to check the web site before you visit to see what’s going on.
